Our Salt Lake office is at 3838 South 700 East, south of the city center and just off 3900 South.
Once a year we look at the whole child: growth on their own curve, a full physical exam, vision and hearing, the screening due at that age, immunizations, and a conversation about how things actually are at home and at school.
We complete school and sports forms at the same visit, so there is no separate physical to arrange.
In a city where families move between neighborhoods often, the constant worth keeping is the person who knows your child. A pediatrician or advanced practice provider takes the visit, and we protect that continuity.
They coordinate the rest: our dietitians, our lactation consultants, our behavioral health team, and specialists outside the practice.
We find things nobody was looking for: hearing loss behind slow speech, iron deficiency, a spine curving during a growth spurt, blood pressure that should not be that high, or depression in a teenager whose grades are still fine.
These visits also carry the vaccine schedule. Immunization ages are well-child ages, so families who keep the appointments never have to reconstruct where they got to.
Come in at birth and two weeks, then at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24, and 30 months, then annually from three through twenty-one — including every year of high school.
Please keep the teenage visits. They are the ones families let slide, and they are where the mental health screening lives.

The freeway leg makes the trip quicker than the map suggests, and 3900 South is a straight run east once you are off it.
