Medical Care
The AAP-recommended schedule, explained.
Wasatch Pediatrics follows the evidence-based immunization schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, and will talk through any question you have.
Immunizing your child is one of the most important steps you can take to protect their health. At Wasatch Pediatrics, we follow the evidence-based immunization schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
Vaccines are safe, effective, and among the most thoroughly studied tools in modern medicine. They play a vital role in preventing serious illness and protecting both individual children and our community.
Most side effects are mild and temporary, such as low-grade fever or soreness at the injection site. During your child’s visit, your provider will review any vaccine-specific considerations and answer your questions.
Whenever possible, we use combination vaccines to safely provide protection while minimizing the number of injections. If you have questions about vaccine timing or options, we encourage you to ask.
