Grow Up Great is Bountiful's own office, on Medical Drive just off 500 South.
We look at your child as a whole. We plot growth against their own history, perform a complete physical exam, test vision and hearing, carry out developmental and mental health screening appropriate to their age, review immunizations, and take as long as the questions need.
We also sign school, sports, camp, and mission forms at the same appointment, so you do not need a separate visit for paperwork.
Many Bountiful families have stayed with the same provider across two or three children. Your child will see a pediatrician or advanced practice provider at Grow Up Great, year after year.
That accumulated familiarity is a real clinical asset rather than a nicety. Anything beyond the visit runs through them: dietitians, lactation support, therapists, psychologists doing testing, and referrals outside the practice.
Nearly everything we catch here is asymptomatic — a murmur worth a second listen, low iron, hearing loss, a spine starting to curve, or a low mood that has not yet become a crisis.
These visits are also where the relationship gets built. A sixteen-year-old will talk to a doctor they have known since preschool in a way they will not talk to a stranger in an urgent care room, and that is bought one ordinary appointment at a time.
Come in at birth and two weeks, then at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24, and 30 months, then once a year from three through twenty-one.
The 30-month visit and the teenage visits are the two families skip most often, and both are among the most useful — one for speech and social development, the other for mental health.
