Vomiting in Babies Under 12 Months

Vomiting in a baby is the forceful emptying of stomach contents through the mouth. It is different from the effortless small amounts of milk that come up with normal spit-up.

Viral infections are a common cause. Reflux, feeding problems, food reactions, intestinal blockage and other illnesses can also cause vomiting in babies.
