Teething in Babies

Teething is the process of a baby’s teeth moving through the gums. It can cause gum tenderness, drooling, chewing and temporary fussiness.

Teething symptoms come from pressure and inflammation in the gums as the teeth erupt. Fever, significant diarrhea, cough and other signs of illness usually have another cause rather than the teeth themselves.

When can my child be seen

Be seen today.

Every office keeps same-day appointments for illness and injury.

This evening or at the weekend.

Most offices run After Hours Care, by appointment rather than walk-in.

If you are worried, call. We would rather answer a question that turns out to be nothing.
