Emergency Care
Fast Relief When It Matters Most
Dental emergencies don't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Call us and we'll get your child comfortable fast, with same-day, after-hours, and teledentistry care.
Seen the same day
We keep room in the schedule for urgent visits, so call and we'll fit your child in.
Help after hours too
After-hours phone support and teledentistry, so you're never left guessing.
Calm, kid-first care
We get your child comfortable first, then fix the problem gently.
What counts as a dental emergency?
If your child has a knocked-out permanent tooth, severe or worsening pain, facial swelling, or heavy bleeding, call us right away. A knocked-out tooth in particular has the best chance of being saved within the first 30 to 60 minutes.
For a chipped tooth, a lost filling, a poking braces wire, or a sore that won't settle, we can usually guide you over the phone and see your child the same day. When in doubt, call. We'd rather hear from you and help you decide.

Common Questions About Emergency Care
What counts as a dental emergency?
A knocked-out permanent tooth, severe or worsening pain, facial swelling, heavy bleeding, or a dental injury all warrant an immediate call. When in doubt, call. We'd rather hear from you and help you decide.
Can you really see my child today?
We reserve time each day for emergencies and will do everything we can to see your child the same day. Call (801) 676-3700 as early as possible.
What if it happens at night or on a weekend?
We offer after-hours phone support to guide you, and teledentistry visits when appropriate, so you always have somewhere to turn.
When should we go to the ER instead?
For trouble breathing or swallowing, a possible broken jaw, or bleeding that won't stop, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For most dental emergencies, call us first.
